Beyond Involvement: Leading the Change

Delta Sculling Center

The Delta Sculling Center (DSC) in Stockton, California, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making the sport of rowing accessible to individuals of all abilities and backgrounds. Through programs like Youth Rowing, Masters, Freedom Rows for veterans, and OarBusters for adaptive athletes, DSC fosters physical health, personal growth, and community connection. Their adaptive and community-driven approach continues to make them a valued partner of Debrief and a special place of belonging and discovery for many across the Valley.

Connect 4

Since the founding of Debrief, we’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Kate Trompetter from Connect For, a consulting organization committed to supporting public serving organizations in strengthening their skills and exploring new tools to increase their impact. Connect For’s work in gathering system-leaders and catalyzing meaningful dialogue allows for our community’s voice to be centered in decision-making, leading to more responsive, equitable, and collaborative approaches across sectors.

Stanislaus Cradle to Career (C2C)

The Stanislaus Cradle to Career Partnership (C2C) is a collaborative initiative backboned by the Stanislaus County Office of Education dedicated to ensuring that every child and young adult in Stanislaus County has a clear path, plan, and purpose. C2C focuses on key areas such as youth empowerment, mental health, mentoring, and parent engagement, all aimed at fostering educational and career success. Their efforts to align institutions and support youth advocacy systems contribute to creating more inclusive opportunities for young people. We value our continued partnership with C2C as we work together to amplify youth voices and support community-driven solutions.
